Wilson Ampitheater at Snow Camp is an enchanting, wooded outdoor theater built on the banks of Cane Creek less than a mile from the site on which Simon Dixon built his water powered grist mill in 1749. In 2008 the Amphitheater was named for the Wilson family who initially envisioned it and has been a driving force for the development and operation of the Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre since its inception in 1972.

Arrive at the Amphitheater after a lovely drive through the country. Shows are professionally directed. Volunteer actors from Alamance and surrounding counties join professional actors for these incredible performances.

The theater is now in the National Parks Freedom Network as part of the National Underground Railroad Registry.
